CHEQUESSETT NECK BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
MIG Construction has completed installation of the temporary bridge piers and spans. The temporary roadway has been paved and the temporary storm water system is fully installed.
Upcoming work will include:
- Installation of temporary utility conduits across the temporary bridge span
- Installation of guardrails between vehicular temporary bridge approaches and temporary pedestrian sidewalks
Please observe the posted speed limit of 25 mph on Chequessett Neck Road approaching the work zone. Also, please note that, once the temporary bridge is open, a stoplight will be installed at each end to control traffic.
